General (General discussion, talk about anything.)
They are not losing their jobs though, are they ?
When the store is quiet, the staff are doing other jobs, they don't leave them sat on the checkouts doing nothing, they will be filling shelves or whatever, and then when it gets busy more tills are opened, and a lot of the staff are picking orders for customers, for online delivery or click & collect, I don't mind the self-service as long as yoo are in reach of an Asda woman, in case you get stuck.
I said 'woman' because I cannot recall a 'man' ever being on the self-service tills, and if it comes to that I cannot remember when I last saw a 'man' on any of the tills in Asda.
And there are not many young people working in Asda either.
There are none or very few ethnic minority people working in Asda.
