An estimate in 2019 said there are approximately 5.46 million people in Scotland and the Highlands. How can such a small population fund a total independence? I take it that neither one penny will cross the border either way to achieve this. When I see Sturgeon publicly state the above without any handouts from the UK or EU I may try to belive it is possible.. I doubt it... North Sea oil/gas is on its way out... Can't rely on fishing/Haggis hunting.
