Asparagus

Used to grow my own, but alas no-longer, so I'm talking of Tesco's Lincolnshire Asparagus.

This has been the best year I can remember: consumed loads of it. My pee will be pongy.

Do other people notice when you get the sparrow whiff in the same way that they do when you acquire garlic odours?

Yes, I find it strange how it affects the aroma of urine, it's the same when you've consumed a large amount of beetroot and your urine is a bright red colour.

Its been a while since we had an asparagus supper. Mmmmmm

priscus - what a subject, no wonder you put it on handbags.

On a personal note, my wee does sting a bit if I have had chillies or chilli sauce....better leave it at that.....

PS make the most of the Asparagus season - it doesn't last long unfortunately.

I didnt plant it but do have Asparigus growing every year in the garden and each year I watch it to cut and eat but then on a day I forget to look it is then Maiden hair fern anyway its nce for the flowers
