Replied: 11th Dec 2020 at 11:36

BB if I won the euro millions None of the top charities would get a red cent off me.It is time they started spending their millions and in some cases Billions which they have in the bankI would source local good causes and buy items for them but would not give them any money . Over the years I have bought items for hospitals by asking them what they required then paid for the items. Told a long time ago do not donate any money because it gets swallowed up in the system and you never find out where it is spent

I said I would like to help her with that but she refused and said I release a fragrance of my own all to often.

My one personal Christmas present is actually a combined one; the sort that everyone could contribute to...
Resurrection of the Commercial Yard, Moot Hall, Old Arcade, Old Market and the bobby back at the top of Wigan on point duty!
Then my New Year resolution would be to create a George Formby museum that would guarantee an influx of visitors and income into the town... and really put us on the map.
