‘Northern Soul’ by Keepthefaith was a finalist in 2017, but sadly lost out to the worthy winner ‘Pulled Pork’ by Chris P Bacon’.

As an artist and challenger of some 'art' I would love to contribute but I am not on facebook and and don't intend to be... but it sounds a good initiative!

Hello JR, though the info is from Facebook, you don’t need to be on Facebook to enter.

For further inspiration, this was the winner in 2018:

As a closet artist (these days) I may (work permitting) endeavour to create my masterpiece. Oh, how I wish I was 17 again - to submit the youthful, dynamic and innovative ideas I had back then, before they were brainwashed out of me!

Hope you’ve managed to create your masterpiece, JR.

Jo anne, I was mulling over ideas and was thinking of a take on something environmental (as my work involves the natural environment). However, I was offered quite a lot of work recently by the Council so I’ve been very busy. I still hope I might still find chance to submit something. I will keep you posted here.

Happy to announce that I have now entered this year's Turnip Prize. I wonder if there's anyone else from Wigan who has entered.

To celebrate, I’ll start a silly thread on General.
