Rice pudding - what happened

My dear old grandma said I couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding.
Trouble is that these days I can't even try - rice puddings don't seem to have any skin nowadays.

They do if you make them inth oven, and not out of a tin!

I love Rice pudding, but being the only one who eats it, I don't bother making it..
The other day whilst grocery shopping I found a tin of rice pudding, I was thrilled and couldn't wait to get home and eat some, but was very disappointed upon eating it.. there was no taste at all.. Home made is the only way...

Yes when I make it.. or do you mean on the tinned pudding? No, I never thought of it..

I used to love the skin but so did my sister and she was bigger than me

as a child we had to take turns on Sundays when we always had rice pudding. Of course it was always full cream milk in those days for puddings and custard and that makes a big difference .
