Was just going to make some Yorkshires, when I had the inkling to take a peek ont net, to see ifn any variants attracted me.

Shock! Horror! Recipes for Yorkshires wih SELF-RAISING FLOUR!

Only ever used Plain Flour misen.

What do you think.

(Isn't it cheating: surely a rising agent {in SRF} is NOT the same as the classic steam driven rise that gives a Yorkshire its unique characteristics?)

As silly as it sounds you have to use a totally different recipe here as we are at altitude and they ( and cakes) cook differently.

Yea, Everest climbers complain that the tea is lukewarm, because of the altitude, water boils at too low a temperature!
