long grass

Started by: PeterP (11291)

A few years ago a builder wanted to build a wall for some houses near to a sharp bend .He was told by the council he would build the wall if he paid to have the bend in the road to a different angle so drivers could see round the bend,This he did to make the bend safer to drive round.Fast forward to now and the council don't cut the grass near to junctions/islands and it is that high it is obscuring the safe passage of vehicles at the junction/islands so creating a traffic hazard

And are you not going to tell us where it is?

Tonker take your pick you must have driven on roads within a 20 mile radius of your home and come across a junction /island with long grass blocking your view .It seems to be the norm for the council to leave them like this
