F1 & LEWIS HAMILTON

Does anyone believe like myself that there seems to be a vendetta against Lewis Hamilton with regards the amount of jewellery is allowed /or not allowed to wear whilst driving. Apart from the fact that last season he was Robbed quite openly from winning the last grand prix. the power's that be have now brought in this new rule ,that driver's should not wear such items that in the event of a serious crash the items might hinder first aid attempts. Surely it should be left to the driver's themselves if they want to wear or not wear such items of jewellery!! Also this week it has been revealed the level of racist remarks against him are proven to be true ,i just wonder at times how he copes . I know the car is struggling at the moment but i do wish and hope he can win at Silverstone on Sunday best of luck LEWIS ..........GB

RULES - apply equally to any race or colour. No-one said "Hamilton cannot wear jewellery because he's part black"!
Likewise, no-one said "Jewellery can only be worn by white drivers".
Typically, Hamilton 'feels' that everything is aimed at him, because of his black ancestry. He's suffering from 'small man syndrome'. If anybody has 'created' racism in motorsport, it's him!

Well said bravo i completely and utterly agree with all you said about "OUR" Lewis ,what a driver ,out of this world ,to come from 5th to get third and almost snatch first spot but a bit of shinanigins from FERRARI ,IE both car's slowing when safety car was out but never mind he is getting used to the bias conditions from all over now , I am also very glad the crashed driver was found to be alright after such an horrific smash wow!! A fantastic response from the fan's too almost 400 ,000 during the week-end , that must say the sport has a lot of support . Felt for George Russell too he was not responsible , alas he could get his car back under his own steam , the rule this year there is no spare car any more ...... Perhaps the reason Hamilton is so good at winning races is that there no longer appears to be the same number of top class well known drivers to the same level like there used to be in the past.

Lewis Hamilton has had many team mates over the years, and apart from 1, Nico Rosberg, has always had the upper hand in similar machinery. A lot of teams start the season with drivers on an equal footing until such time a leader emerges and the other becomes, for all intents and purposes, a ' wingman '. Up to the rule changes, the Mercedes was the superior package but they did have the best driver in the car. If it was only the car, Bottas should have won more races. When the Merc does find pace again to challenge at the front, watch out for George Russell. He's special. I remember watching Lewis Hamilton many many moons ago at 3 Sisters, racing karts. He was head and shoulders above then too.

I stand by my original comments regards Sir Lewis Hamilton , he should be applauded for his stance to stamp out racism of all kind . AS for him buying a jet or whatever in the Isle of Man , so what he is not the only one to do this ,it goes on in all walk's of life ,from pop stars to football players ,if anyone can save a few bob from not paying the tax man ,then i say cheers i just wish i could .. as for a F1 driver he is the best , and i will say just watch this space when Mercedes get their teething problems with the new set up with car ,you won't see him for the dust .........GB

Tax avoidance is both legal and sensible, tax evasion is illegal, you mix them both up, if Lewis Hamilton registers his plane in the Isle of Man to pay less tax, then as long as it is within the rules and legal, then what is your problem with it.

George Russel is a good racing driver, and it says something when a German team, with a major German sponsor (Mercedes) employ two British drivers, because German teams like having German drivers, so it just goes to show how much Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, outshine the rest of the F1 drivers.

Nico Rosberg was a cheat, he was a dirty driver, and I always got the feeling that the Mercedes team was favouring Rosberg over Hamilton, because they wanted a German driver to win the F1 Drivers Championship.
