Pep should have gone with his best team and got us over the line. He could then have rotated to his heart's content for the final few games before the final. It showed a lack of respect to Chelsea who put virtually their strongest team out and got the result they deserved.

Is it not a bit different with OGS though? Second place is nailed on and he has nothing to play for before the final. Villa don't have anything to play for either so maybe he is thinking it will be a walk in the (Villa) park.

How has Ole picked a reserve team. His first choice goalie and back four. His favoured midfielders in Fred and McTominay and Fernandes, Pogba and Rashford are always his first picks. Cavani rested but Greenwood in is the only change that can be considered resting someone.

I did answer your question Grim, in saying that they wouldn't get anywhere near our first team it is obvious that City don't develop average English players like trafford tend to. We develop world class players of all nationalities, (including the likes of Foden and Sancho BTW).
