Does anyone know the location of this site,and the name of the pit and forge.

At the end of Laburnum avenue, off Ince Green Lane, in Ince.

I think this might be the old Ince Moss colliery site,also known as Amberswood.

I think the old Ince Forge later became Gullick Dobson, and after that Dobson Park.

It was Moss Hall Colliery.
Here's a picture of the site entrance. The land on the left, between Laburnum and the lines, is where the canal used to be. It was sold last year at Pugh's auction. I suspect it was purchased in association with this proposed development.
