Started by: reddi8 (1107)

today I visited Jimmy in the Manchester hospital after his quadruple by pass last monday. He is still under sedation but hopefully if won`t be too long before he springs back to his old self.

Is that Jimmy Culshaw that dresses up like Chubby Brown and used to drive a van. Would be in his early 60s. If so I wish him a speedy recovery not seen him around for a few months.

Been with Jimmys son today at ST. Pats, he was going seeing his dad but told me the operation had been a success but his dad was still poorly. Get well soon Jimmy from your mates at ST. Pats.

I have just spoken to my sister, who is Jimmys partner and she says that he is in a fair bit of discomfort and not out of the woods yet. They will not let him home until he is "something like" When he does come home he will need aftercare for a few weeks. But Jimmy is a strong character and I have no doubt at all that he will be back to his old self soon. May I thank you all on my sisters behalf for all your messages.

Won't have hindered Jimmy's recovery having lost a load of weight over the last few years.

Let's hope he's home weekend, hospital isn't a place to be.
