Fishy, the drunk was seen before you has the staff do not want a situation to develop.I agree also that the elderly are not given the care they deserve.

They are understaffed and over full half the time.Christies have been nothing short of fantastic with my mother however, the staff there deserve a medal. But I did take my brother into Wigan Infirmary a few months back and was horrified with his treatment. He was left waiting in pain on a bed a long time, when I went in he rolled off and I caught him , the sides hadn;t been put up and he was delirious with pain. But the staff were run off their feet that day.
I work as a carer for the elderly, they are terrified of having a fall and going into hospital, all of them seem to have a bad tale to tell. But then again we do tend to complain about the bad and not give credit when its good.
I think most hospitals are understaffed, and those staff are underpaid.
