I am trying to trace my cousin Kathleen, don't know her married name but her maiden name is Bibby and used to live in Norley Hall then Scholes and the last I heard was Darlington St. I will be over from oz next week and will knock a few doors but if anyone can help it will save a lot of leg work. cheers

I know a Kath Bibby who lived in all the places mentioned. If she has a sister Doreen it will be the right one. Did Kath work at Hienz before she stopped work?

Thanks mandie that's great. Kath said she would let me know when they had got in touch. Bet they have a smashing time, Kath is full of fun so I'm sure there will be a lot of laughter.

Hi Poppy & Mandy, I rang Kath as soon as I got out of Morrisons and we went straight round. It was really great, we had a good chat and a few cuppa's. It has also helped me with the family tree as she remembers things that I did not. (Which is not hard) We are now going to keep in touch, thanks to you both for your help in reuniting two much loved cousins. Cheers

Hi Mandy, Sorry I have been so long, been catching up with a lot since we came back. We have holiday accommodation next door and I have been flatout.
Yes I do think I know Jean Halliwell I am not sure if she was in my class at Rose Bridge. I will ask my hubby... did she live in Battersby St. at one time. I went to junior school at St Catherines but he went to Ince Central. Can't put a face to her but the name rings a bell!!! It was nice to catch up with a few friends. Keep well. Viv
