hi,i dont know if theres any connection here but two of my great grandfathers siblings married PRYLES. these Pryles were Andrew and Margaret, siblings who came from Yorkshire but settled in WIgan. Not exactly sure where, Andrew lived in Coop? st in teh 1901 census with children Andrew (b.abt 1900) and Ellen(b.abt 1901)
Margaret PRYLE married John W. HURST and lived in Longshoot in 1901.
Would be interested in any knowledge of these Pryles.

Hmmm ok there may be some relation there with my Pryles and Hursts, exactly what tho remains to be seen! A pity contact between families ceased after my great grandparents migrated to Australia in 1911ish.... guess teh search continues for unknown descendants..

hi everyone
i now definitely think there is a connection! ive had a look in lancashirebmd for marriages of Andrew Pryles and there are two, one in 1925 to Ellen Ryan and a much later one in the 1950s. Without having seen certificates im fairly sure the Andrew and ELlen marriage is a strong connection! Andrews age is about right! So Sandra looks like there is a connection after all, tho somewhat distantly

Hi only remembered about 3 days ago my Aunty Nelly's married name was Pryle we used to go to see her as kids , think she lived in Worsley Hall behind the shops not far from the mountrose pub , remember my dad talking about "Young" Andrew & Leslie.
Mam would take us to see " Aunty " Edna & Uncle Andrew Pryle can't remember where they lived
