Aha, this then begs the question, to come back from, means, you have to go there first.

There is an advert on EBAY advertising a NIGHT IN HAIGH HALL for c.£59.00 .It claims that Haigh Hall is one of the most haunted sites in Britain. What a con..... I have NEVER heard that claim before. I would like to ask them What they base their claim on??????

I used to be a paranormal investigator. I've been to a few places. One in particular was "Chingle Hall". This place is supposed to be the most haunted house in Britain. I disagree. I've heard noises & seen a ball of light shoot in front of me but thats all. I do believe a little but need more proof. Those fright night things are "Entertainment Only" & they are a rip off. I may be going back to Chingle Hall in the summer if anyone is interested.

Hi Dangal,
I have seen the ghost of a young woman. I wasn't the only person who saw her but many people who were in the same place at the time didn't see her. I was later told that she was murdered 10 years earlier on the site of the building I was in.

I have also had an 'out of body experience' and vivid dreams about my parents and my grandson who had all passed away. Those dreams brought messages that they're ok and as much alive as I am.

Maddy, your husband makes a valid point. Aliens, in other words, people who are different, may well exist on other planets that revolve around other suns, don't forget, what you perceive as stars, are actually suns. The afterlife, is a myth created by religious authorities in an attempt to impose their will on us, and with that will, control us.

Dave, no-one imposes their will on me and its nothing to do with religion as i do not have one although i do have a faith, there has to be more than `this life`and by the way i do believe in aliens im very open minded.

PSYCHICS TOSH
By Rosa Prince 24/02/2007
More Top Stories
PSYCHIC powers are a load of nonsense, according to a Ministry of Defence investigation.

It spent £18,000 to secretly test claims that psychics can "remote view" people's thoughts over fears for defence secrets.

In 18 sessions, guinea pigs were asked if they could sense what photo others were looking at while magnetic frequencies in the room were recorded. They concluded it had "little value".

The MoD, which kept the 2002 tests top secret until now, said: "There would have been all sorts of defence implications."

Ive read all the threads on this site about ghosts also the ones about Haigh Hall, now I am a sceptic, don't believe or disbelieve, but to introduce my two pence worth, in the 1960s my girl friend at that time who I later married were very good friends with the caretaker and his wife at Haigh Hall, they lived in and we used to go and stay with them at weekends, now they had 3 dogs and they had the run of the place, as had, we wandered every where in the Hall, down in the cellars and up in the top floors, now I don't know if there has been any alterations but upstairs there was a corridor very narrow with about 5 steps up, a short landing and 5 steps down, and one of these dogs would not go beyond them steps for love or money, he would crouch down his ears would go back and there was no way would he go any further, we were told later that there had been a fatality at that point but no one seemed to know any thing about the incident, and to this day never did find out anything about it.

It's extremely easy to argue in favour of the paranormal, just because it cannot be proved.
On the other hand, anyone believing in the paranormal, & willing to back their belief. There's a $1,000,000 dollars prize in proving it. So the obvious thing to do, is Put-up, or Shut-up...........'K?
