have you tryed to look on friends reunited you need to register but then you can search for someone by name or area where they lived,if you're not sure how to do it ask me in the club next time you're in and i'll write down how to do it

I'm sure you are Erin, some of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons were my favourite in the 60s

Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear etc.

I went out with a girl for a couple of years in the early 60s. Her name was Maureen Dobson and she used to live at the bottom of Belle Green Lane I think the number was 57, she had a brother called John, she was a lovely girl but circumstances dictated that we were not to carry on together, and we went our separate ways , I heard later that she had gone to live in America and I often wonder what became of her. Anyone out there remember Maureen, and does anybody know if she is still in touch with anyone from around here. I tried to get in touch with her on friends reunited but it doesnt seem to include the states

aitch ,i found my cousin in america.she was registered as a u.k. member.if maureen has registered you should be able to find her profile.have you tried looking through the ex-pats on this site?i found some old neighbours in canada by clicking on different places and scrolling through them all.long job but worth it when you see a name from the past.

aitch,if you go to my poem Manchester Boy in wiganworld local poetry you may be able to read between the lines regarding my love for the City nearly fifty years ago.Try writing a poem as it becomes part of a tribute to love that came then went.
