Thank you so much Winnie for the information. x Its a bit of a story. Lillian was married to Albert Fairhurst she had two children Thomas and Florence. I have managed to find Albert in WW1 but he was killed in 1916 under an alias name Jack Henshaw. I was just really trying to find out why the family got separated and why he went under an alias name. Thank you again x

Hi Christine, I have searched for Albert Fairhurst for years, although he is listed on the Memorial and St Lukes and on his Mother and Fathers grave in the old St Thomas graveyard I couldnt find him anywhere until last year. He served under an alias name of Jack Henshaw and I have found out where he is buried in Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery in Armentieres.

A local historian David Fearnley has helped me enormously, and has found out so much more about Lilian his ex wife. Thank you for your comments. :)

Emily Connor was my GGrandparent from Potters Row, I think that he perhaps changed his name because or relationship problems?
