Now I've heard everything,
In one of the daily tabloids yesterday there was a top cop saying that if we allowed heroin addicts to have free heroin on the N.H.S that it would stop them committing robberies to get their fix, what a load of hogwash,
What he really meant was that it would give the police less work chasing them and more time to practice their favourite pastime "Hammering the Motorist"

the NHS has told people suffering from alzheimers, they cant have the drug because of the cost??£2.50 a day??

That sounds like a really good well thought out idea. Just throw the towel in on all addicts. Not to mention the added cost to the NHS for all the illnesses related to addiction when their health deteriorates. Pile more on to the already stretched hospital resources. Bet the nurses on the frontline would have something to say about that? I bet the suppliers would love that? Cut out the middleman just sell it straight to the Govt. or local hospital for the addicts to collect courtesy of the taxpayer. Ummmmm. Interesting?

All this government thinks about is how to appease criminals,lets just give them everything while the hardworking people of this world keep stumping up the funds through tax. BRING BACK CAPITAL PUNISHMENT!Then some of these low lifes might think again.
