Chimney sweep
Can anyone recommend a good Chimney sweep in the wigan area please ?

Not hundred percent sure, but I think we might have some brushes for that job. If we ave and you want to do the job yerself (which is a bit messy but nor ard) you will be welcome fot borrow um. let me know and I will ask Mr darkhorse fot ava look fer um.

Thanks for your kind offer, but if I did it myself and covered the front room in soot, her indoors would chop me up and feed me to our cats !

Its dead easy dave ive done it wi mi dad loads of times. The way to do it is to tape all round your fire front securely and once the first lot is done, wait for it to settle afore attempting to remove the soot. A spray bottle with water helps as long as you only spray enough to deg down as if you used too much you end up in a worse mess than the dust makes! I dont blame yer not wantin to do it yerself lad! I think I is too owd now for that sort o roarmin.

Ithink the Ingrey family from Marsh Green used to do it but then again i think thiere nephew Mark from Hindley took it over,
