we are thinking of moving to Scotland, Inverness mainly..(going back to my roots!)
But ive no idea where to start!
We are hoping to save enogh money over the next couple of years, so we can get a rented house and cover the rent for a few months while we get new jobs, but ive been told the job front, Inverness way is worse than here.
Im sick of talking and thinking about it, i just want to do it now! lol
Can anyone give me any ideas on where to start?

Why Not look for a small house in Kingussie and start a one or two bed and breakfast, dont forget you are next door to Aviemore , I had one there and it paid well as there are plenty climbers around and also in the Cairngorms but just watch your wooden floors. walk beg=fore you run best of luck

there is a big unemployment problem in scotland. even the once thriving aberdeenshire has its probs today. elizabeth has put up an idea that you would do well to consider.whatever you decide, the very best of luck to you gal.

Go for it, i've moved a lot with the forces and it was worth the stress. Something will turn up once your there. My pal just moved to a jock village, took over a post office and loves it.
If you don't settle you can always move back or try somewhere else.Worlds your oyster.
