people change!

I have spent the last 6-7 years trying to find a friend i was in care with, and on my birthday (3 aug) i got a phone call.
My long lost friend!
I was so happy!, but in the last 3 weeks i have been told so many lies its unbelievable! so i cut all contanct with them, i know they 15 years older and things do change but im just in shock!
I never thought a person could change so much, im trying to find another person i was in care with but im not so sure i want to carry on.
Has any one on here had the same experience?

So sorry you had a bad experience with an old friend but just remember although we ALL change/move on sometimes it's for the better. Find your other friend, it might work out this time, if it doesn't at least you tried.

Yes! It;s not right for people to lie to their friends or even family members. I know what you mean my step-daughter has been lying to me behind my back.
