I've always wondered why, they are called, spare ribs, Like if you asked the pig, " hey pig , have you any spare ribs i can eat ?"

Tom, they were originally called spear ribs because they were cooked on a spear, from that they became spare ribs.

grilled spam, chips, and fried egg, I did have to have words with Mrs. Brush as the egg was slightly burned underneath.......she assured me it wouldn't happen again.
