Backtracking

Last year St Helens pulled a multi story car park down and said it was an eyesore and there were plenty of car parking around town. Today they released plans to build another multi story because people have requested one Apart from the cost involved demolishing the 1st car park they now have to find funds for a new car park

St Helens have only pulled down a car park which is nothing compared to Wigan who are going to knock down a 34 year old shopping development to build a another shopping/leisure/housing deveopment when less people are shopping in town centres and there are enough leisure facilities at Robin Park for what go out these days.

But as Whups says, It what you voted for.
