Postcode Lottery
Do we have any WW members doing the PL, if so what experience have you had for the length of time you've been registered with them. Any big wins, regular small ones or nowt at all.
I'm undecided about it to be honest.

I get £10 most weeks, no big prizes so far.

Thanks Angel, not bad at all and that will cover your monthly outlay too.

Just for curiosity, what would you all buy first if you won a decent amount ..say £30.000.

Not sure, Momac. Would probably just bank it and use it on my grandchildren.

Not in the PL... But have contributed to the GMP force lottery for the last 41yrs roughly £4 per month... Had one win of £125 many years ago. Paid in roughly over the years £1,968....not good odds. Still waiting for the monthly £2000 win.... Then I will jack it.

I'm not really into Lotteries or gambling NanaJ, I have my own good causes that benefit from my cash, never seen a Bookie catching the bus home.

Gambling is a mug's game and ruins lives, you'll lose more often than you'll win. Great if you have a very big win and you are set up for life, but what are the odds? Did you know alcohol use disorders are particularly common in people who are diagnosed with a gambling addiction.
Replied: 7th Nov 2021 at 18:08
I've seen on TV where lives, marriages etc have been ruined through gambling

"Gambling is a mug's game and ruins lives," Agreed.
But a couple of quid a week?
Don't think that qualifies me as a gambler.
Replied: 7th Nov 2021 at 18:13
No one said it did
Replied: 7th Nov 2021 at 18:17
But you "gamble" "a couple of quid a week" that indeed does make you a "Gambler" doesn't it, it's still a gambling isn't it?
Replied: 7th Nov 2021 at 18:20
I suppose it does, but it aint going to ruin my life is it?
It equates to the the amount I get for tying my boot laces in the morning.

Terry w,if you are not in it you can’t win it and yes I will stay in.
I also have a bet on the horses every day ,and am a member of Elite racing club and in 5 ownership syndicates.
I love every minute,and if I couldn’t afford to do it ,I wouldn’t.
My dad used to run across the road to the bookies to put his bets on.whatever the weather. I lie on the bed and put my bets on while watching the evening racing using the internet.
It’s Utopia!
