Another van/lorry stuck under the railway bridge on Prescott Street. How many is that this year ?

Isn't it being closed for vehicles.... Sure I have read that somewhere.

Said it before it requires steel goal post style barriers erecting either side of the bridge then if a vehicle is too high it will hit the barrier 1st and then there would be less damage to the bridge.

I think it may be driver error or the sat nav sent him the shortest way not mentioning the low bridge. The goal posts are probably a good idea Peter and will work out cheaper in the long run than having to dig vehicles out from under the bridge.

They have them on the road from New Springs to Haigh Hall and on some car parks..

If the drivers of these vehicles ignore all the warning signs on the approach to the bridge or the warning messages on the bridge itself………..

What is it that makes people think they will pay attention to anything else
