It was at this time last year that the Covid cases started to increase as the effects of the school's going back at the beginning of September started to filter through, and by the end of October we were back in the month long lockdown in November, which just finished nicely to allow all of the Christmas shoppers to infect themselves, and just about every other bugger over Christmas and New Year, and that led to a near meltdown of the NHS in January onwards, and the ensuing lockdown was only finally lifted in August.

I know 90% of the country as been vaccinated, but who knows what is going to happen, only yesterday in Wigan I noticed that hardly anyone, was wearing a face mask, even the older ones weren't bothering.

So yoo reep wot yoo sow

We are still wearing masks when indoors, pubs, shops etc. We get stared at like we've got 2 heads. Are we bothered, No. Someone we know has just tested positive ( 3rd time ), our tests came back negative. I know wearing the masks is a pain in the a..e but so's getting ill and worse. I think mask wearing will make a comeback in time for Christmas. Even the jewel in the crown that is Shevington gets cases of Covid. Nowhere is exempt.
