Hmmm, my antivirus warning on Wigan Rejects

I thought I would have a look at that other site today but when I logged on (and every few seconds) my antivirus warned me that it kept blocking a site named geniusdexchange.com. When I logged off it stopped. Apparently it said danger of software download (I can't remember if it said "malicious" software download).

It's a shame as WR looks like a decent site.

Does anyone know if the warning is genuine and something one should be concerned about? Thankfully my antivirus seemed to block every attempt.

TBH I go on regularly and have never seen anything like that. Better to be safe than sorry.

I'd run an antivirues scan. It looks like a browser hijacker.

Good advice First Mate,

I have done a Kaspersky full Total antivirus, Malwarebytes Premium, Superantispyware, Spybot Search and Destroy scans and nothing found. The fact that I haven't had the alerts on any other websites accessed by the same browser suggests it is the Wigan Rejects site that has the issue.

the antivirus warning is for "some people" on there because they nasty viruses.
