Plus people’s homes are much better suited to having friends around. The whole entertainment scene has changed. People used to meet their friends in clubs and pubs because they had heating, indoor toilets, entertainment etc. but lots of homes are suitable for that now. I would seldom think of going to the pub. You are paying more for a glass of wine than you pay for a bottle at the Liquor Store.

Lots of people have changed their lifestyles since the lockdowns.
People have spent their holiday savings on revamping their gardens to entertain outside. Building summer houses and the like.
One bloke that I know even insulated his summer house and installed heating.

People are paying a lot less for their drinks, while they have been at home, and got into a routine, so it will be hard for them to break that, plus it doesn't help when they're putting their prices up.
