Treadmills......

Started by: Anne (4384)

.....anyone got one? I bought myself one recently, it arrived on Friday. It is a Reebok i run 4. Why, you may ask? Because I don't like going for a walk either alone or accompanied, it isn't really a walk more of an amble so not achieving much for fitness. With this, the thing is I pop on and off whenever I like, between jobs and without having to change from my usual scruffy appearance. Also it folds very flat standing against a wall.
Up to now I am doing about fifteen minutes sessions at a marching speed helped by suitable military music. Today isn't a good day for outdoor walking. Think I am going to like it.

I bought one a few years ago & the novelty wore off so it went to a member of my family free, but when it arrived it wouldn't work ( it did before it left ) I had five days left on guarantee & Amazon collected it & refunded £200,same with my exercise bike I gave it away & that works, hope you enjoy it Anne

Take your time Anne and build it up slowly but you seem a very active person who gets on with it.

How will I know when the hamster syndrome hits? Will I develop a craving for peanuts?

I have one and a bike in the basement but rarely use them. I may take my I Pad down there and watch some football. I can be on a lovely scenic walk within a minute of leaving my house so walk outside.
