getwom,
The experts are concerned about the damage that has been done by the hydrogen bombs and they dont want any more testing by north Korea and Iran.

Its all very depressing! Has for America, they will never sign nothing to reduce emissions. Its the large corporations that control America not its President.

carbon dioxide emissions are a smoke screen for the damage done by nuclear testing.(no pun intended)Professor Stephen Hawkins says the public must be made aware of the damage already done by testing nuclear bombs, and he is no stupid scaremonger.

getwom,
Why did the u.s.a the russians and british governments stop testing these bombs? and why did they plead with the french government not to test thier latest bomb at some south undersea place?
I can assure you it is not because they make a noise.
p.s read Stephen Hawkins comments in todays Daily Mirror.

getwom,
I think we should agree to disagree. I dont have the time or inclination to go round the sites that are offered on computers,Wigan World is enough for me. Also it would be a very dull world if everybody agreed with everybody, Keep posting.

THe clock has been set two minutes nearer to 5mins to midnight.

This is not the closest the clock has ever come to reaching midnight, however. In 1953, the world was just two minutes from Doomsday as the United States and the Soviet Union tested hydrogen bombs within months of each other.

Thanks JJ. As I don't know what you're talking about I can't comment. What a pity. I'll read the posts above though and perhaps I'll get the gist of it.
