rossy,
I personally dont know about the ice age melting, but my own theory on the present global warming is,The u.s.a. government, the Russian government, the British government, exploded thousands of atom/hydrogen bombs between them. Some underground, some under the sea, some in the sky, and some high in the atmosphere
Most of these bombs where exploded in the 50's 60's,anyone who has worked outside for a living will tell you its only warmed up since then. But these politicians are trying to brainwash the whole world into thinking its the normal everyday person thats caused it by using fossil fuels. What a load of bull****. What damage have they done with the bombs? In my humble opinion the damage is such that its unrepairable, and whats in store for the children of this world?

coccium: I was on Christmas Island when we set off the bombs and you are probably correct.in what you say. At my age I will not see the final results.

The man in the boat last night was having a go at Blair, and asking about the effects of air travel and why wasn't he doing more
So how did the man in the boat get to Antarctica, er did he fly there by any chance ? just a little hypocritical dont you think
Everyone of us is guilty of global warming be it by our central heating, coal fires, driving our cars/van's/trucks or simply farting it all affects the atmosphere

what about deforestation, a section of rainforest the size of wales is destroyed every 24 hrs.the rain forests are the lungs of our planet, human beings are the cancer.
