Ashes 4-1 ???

Started by: ozzielass (1742)

Are the lads going to get up in the last Test? Has anybody told them that the Ashes are already gone and they are leaving their run a bit late? Does anybody care now?

At least they are giving the Dads Army retirees a good run for their money - that's if the rain stays away. Made the Brits feel at home at least. I know the Brit Press has given them some stick but it won't be anything like what they will get if they become the first Team to loose the Ashes 5-0 for more than 80 years. Enough to make you cry in your Foster's.

given the fact the english team like a fosters(or two)i reckon the aussies must have put something in their drink.
but i agree with you, who gives a s**t now. its to late, win or lose. the whole cricket hiarchy needs a drastic overhauling, start by firing the present setup, cos its failed miserably.

short mems ???you sugesting that we live forever on one achievment???i think thats the big problem with brit sports, do it once in whatever game, and bask forever in that one time victory. we lag behind the world when it comes to bottle in sports, is it cos we pay the madonas to much cash, for so little returns???

get some no nonsense aussie coaches(the aussie, had the english girl swimming team in tears, but they came away with more medals than ever before)the aussie coaches at wigan didnt do to bad either.
with our sportsmen, its hairstyles/ manicured finger nails/ designer gear???plenty of big bucks to pay for it all, from the poor brit spectators.who after all, would stand for these repeated bad performances like the brits do ???

21 century, and thats the name of the game "MONEY MONEY MONEY"it will put a winning side together, and if the side dont perform i.e live up to the salary they are lifting each month, then its the waste bin for the individual.the whole design starts in the school playing fields. therein lies the problem in the UK. most sports that you and i grew up playing in the playground, have now been banned??result is, we are nothing in all competative sports, no bottle, no idea, fall over injured, when touched by an opponent.look no further than the olympics....what a disgracefull shower.beaten time and time again by much smaller nations. ????i rest my case. pass the jim beam pulleasse.

FIVE NIL...Worst result in 80 years. I really am a glutton for punishment,I actually watched the debacle, capitulation is the kindest word I could find,it's just as well the Kiwis are playing in the ODI series,it will give me an alternative.
