Is there any CCTV in the area?

Makes me angry this - I can't bear a bloody thief!

They sell for quite a bit. When they reach maturity they are far too big for your average garden, both in height and width.

Absolutely.

Seems though you have had at least some satisfaction so far, Lez, following your own efforts.

They put it down to priorities.

You'd normally expect this type of theft to happen in the springtime, when folk are thinking about sorting their gardens out.

Hanging baskets are a favourite. Same with gardening tools etc. sold on at car boot sales and the like.

But at this time of year?

they got a prize for 2nd nicest garden and they go and do that

Jealousy springs to mind.

I would imagine Lezgee giving the address of 14/16 Kenilworth Drive may be enough to solve this one.

If they give it you back - give it plenty water - I imagine the roots have been exposed somewhat. Perhaps cover the container too then ice doesn't have a chance to form around the roots on a cold night.

The residents of 14/16 Kenilworth Drive may have nothing to do with the theft, it may just be that the thief has used their property as an escape route to the estate.

that right dodger when there is a gate they went past only 4 foot tall leading of the field , they lifted a 6ft pannel out and past it through ,sherlock, then the bike tracks went off back over the field opposite way, i went to the front of the bungalows no soil residue any where at the front any how police given all info up to them now
