HMS Hindustan was the name of the vessel to which volunteers for the Zeebrugge Raid (this day, April 23rd, in 1918) were transferred for training in preparation for the raid.
Daniel Swann of Lower Ince was reputed to have volunteered - but I have been unable to find him on lists of those who took part.
