Wigan Album

Having a root through some of my old files recently, came across this cutting from the Wigan Observer from end of March 1978 (44 years ago). We were living out at Scarisbrick on a farm at the time in the residential caravan and was hooked up to the mains supply. Standard Unit rate 2.5p. plus quarterly charge of £2.70. Did we complain then? In those days there was no option of switching suppliers.
