1969 - 1981: Twelve very happy years working with some great lads and lasses.

The valve shown is the biggest i have seen were would that be used it woul take a while to open or shut

Ive seen some of these valves in use overseas, and was asked why was the Wigan factory called Triangle, I used to say I dont know.

it must have been at dewrance in skem the picture was taken , know the two lads working on it.

My husband Phil Thompson worked as a pattern maker at Triangle Valve. The year was 1969. He loved every minute working in the pattern shop. Can anyone name the lads in the photo?

Tom I think that the valve would probably have been used on the Trans Alaska Pipeline. I worked there in the very early seventies and they were one of the companies I dealt with.
