I remember seeing one of these Identity Cards when I was a young girl.It was in a tin my mother kept important documents in.I think it was my dad's.

Thank you to the lady, or gentleman that has corrected the position of the photograph.

Hope you don't mind me turning the document the right way up. It saves craning the neck Albert. Yes I think the document I found was my dad's - it must have been from the war years.

Still got mine and my parents, may have to have it stamped to confirm my Covid vaccinations!!!

I'm used to doing it now Edna, as I take photos of my art work....it's not that hard.

I've still got my old Dads National ID card as well as his WW2 Army pay book. My late Dad was born down Miry Lane in 1923.
