Just found this image of Jackie in a very rare book about Tom Van Vollenhoven.
Even if you are a staunch Wigan fan You have got to admit that Tom Van Along with Billy B. Were probably the best Rugby League wingers of their era by a mile.. Maybe of all time. Glad to say I saw them both in action many times

It was in the news again that no rugby league player has ever been knighted.I could name a few who deserve one.
