Nice picture showing the destruction that took place on the railways and in town centres all over Britain in that dark period in the late 60's/early 70's when everything with any age was seen as fit for the scrapyard. Now we're paying the price by having to replace most of what was done then because it so dated, dilapidated or falling down. A lesson learned one hopes, though I wouldn't bank on it - not when there's money to be made out of doing such things.
