Hi John, What a blast from the past! I used to live at No 7 Bryn Street with my parents Roy and Jean Harrison, my Auntie and Uncle lived next door at No 9 that's who the car in the background of your photograph belongs to Vauxhall Viva I think. Apparantly your Dad and mine used to work and help one another out with each others cars them both being interested in motor mechanics. I well remember your Grandmas (May) and the house next door No 3 being boarded up for years after she moved away. All those houses on the left of that photograph along with the ones on Warrington Road were finally demolished in 1984.
In fact I have a photograph of me and some other children at one of your birthday parties at your Grandmas house in Bryn Street somewhere if you would like a scan of it?
