It could well be of The Wigan Boys Club. My father Kenneth Hitchen is the lad with the stripey top. Came across the photo recently, and just want to know it's history. What was The Wigan's Boys Club?
wigan boys club was a club in clayton street i think it was, off wallgate. a lot of very good sports lads used to go there.
Diane, your dad certainly liked that jumper,he as it on in both photos? I used to have clothes I loved not like the throw away culture of today. Great photos!
