A different style footbridge over the swollen River Douglas as the footpath from Arley Hall continues close to the Arley Reservoir. The previous day NW England including the Ribble Valley suffered severe flooding due to incessant rainfall. It is many decades since I walked round there so have the footbridges survived the passing years?
