It is a good job I already have all these photos David, or I should be most displeased, particularly with this one, as I had already redone the pointwork here twice before I originally came across this particular shot ( see Wigan Wallgate in Hobbies section )

Stanier Class 4 2-6-4 tank no. 42444 leaving Wallgate for Manchester Victoria. This was taken by Ray Farrell on May 28th 1960.

This nice photo was taken by raymond farrell on the 28th may 1960 & it is not approaching wallgate station, but leaving and i think it heading for victoria by the atherton line.does any1 remember a toffee shop called nobblets that was on wallgate?
