Many towns would give an arm and a leg for a wide open space like this. We covered it over with a Shopping Center that no one uses.

And when we do find a wide open space we tend to cover it in the very vehicles that got us to that wide open space DTease. As Cat Stevens once sang out " Where do the children play.....hey hey hey.....hey"..etc, etc. [or is it all about the shopping?]

what is that green car?

Comment by: John Morris on 7th December 2017 at 15:56

The green car is a Triumph Stag with a hardtop fitted.

My hubby says the green car looks Italian and he hazards a guess that it is a Fiat or an Alfa Romeo. Just a guess, though.

Where would they put the Parking Ticket Poet?

The market square accommodated Horses and carts well before the motor and not all that long ago and going back centuries I bet.

I am surprised that Garry has yet to jump in and tell us that the Stag was designed and styled by one Giovanni Michelotti. A very esteemed Italian Engineer and Designer who was also responsible for, amongst many many other various road going vehicles the design of the Scammel Routemaster and Trunker of the 60s.
