13 0f this class of locos B1'S met their fate at ince wagon
These lovely locomotives were often seen on the Manchester Vic to Liverpool Exchange route. There were quite a few named in this class. But they were still classed as 'visitors' from the Eastern Region. A few did specials on Grand National day from places like Leeds, Bradford and Newcastle.
They are just like large mighty living creatures, in the throes of death. What a great service they did for our country. Especially during the war years.
What street are these buildings?
Gerry, I think these are the streets that lead up to the back of Ince Parish Church, in Ince Green Lane, someone will put me right, if I am wrong.
