How times have changed, the whole side of this road, where the pony cart is, is now a Sunday car park. Still a nice place to start a good walk!!

We go there a lot..park up near Rivington School, then start walking for a good couple of hours..we go past that little School..can't wait for the weather to brighten up..get a bit fitter, and sandwiches and coffee never taste as good as out in the fresh air..Lord Leverhulme was a lovely man by all accounts..and a generous one..God luv him.
