Yes, it is.
I bought my first and only motorbike from there, a Royal Enfield 250, I got it on friday and was in Wigan Infirmary following monday with a broken leg

Would you buy a car off them
Is this the Millers that sold bikes at newtown near asda...
nice pic, i remember the building as my grandad used to live opposite here in the terraced houses, but i would never have remembered the name
You weren't exactly spoiled for choice, were you? Left to right a Renault Dauphine, Wolseley 15, Standard 8 or 10 and a Rover 75 or 90.
The Standard car looks like it has only two doors so it would have been an 8 it also had no boot lid, the boot was accessed from the inside of the car with the rear seats folded forward.
Spoiled for choice would not be the case, since it was only in the early 1950's that new cars began to "come on stream" even though you had to join a waiting list of many weeks if not months to acquire one. I suppose we were far too busy trying to pay off our war debts to the Americans. There were just 2 million cars on our roads and I assume very, very few were new at that time.
I lived just to the right of here up to 1959.
