My grandad lived in Holt Street behind this building. We called it Rozzie's Farm in the 50s and 60s. A little girl is supposed to have drowned in the moat hundreds of years ago. How wonderful to have a home with such history. Would love to have a toot.

Neil i think my brother lives in your grandfathers bungalow i remember when he bought it he said it belonged to cains the pie shop owners. All i recall is the street was unadopted then and full of potholes.

Dave it was no 38 and the Barrow family bought it first in 1966. They had a shop on Manchester Road and died quite close together a few years back I think,. I have the bill for building it in the early 30s. It cost about 500 pounds,.
