I still have, and listen to, my old records bought from Roy Hurst't stall. One of my LP's is The Drifters, in the paper sleeve, in the cardboard sleeve and in a plastic sleeve.

Hello Karen, I remember your Dad and his stall well. I also recall meeting you once or twice. You had a pony and used to go to shows. So did I. Do you remember July Sherratt? This is Alan Cheetham . I have lived in Germany for the past 34 years. Would be nice to hear from you.

Dave, do you recollect giving Marty Wild a knock back, promoting a punk rock kid by the name of Kim in the back ground, waiting to sign records in the front of your dads stall, cos we had a date with a pint?

Worked for Roy on Saturdays. Best job ever. Top twenty singles.....reorganizing them and selling them....awesome!

I still have my LP The Jungle Book which I received for my 4th or 5th Birthday. I am 59 now. I have very little memories about the Market - however just to see the picture of the stall makes me smile. If I could I would have posted a picture with this post
